I just couldn’t help it. I had to share these photos I took of my adorable daughter during the latest beautiful days we have had.

A tear or two actually formed in my eyes while I was going through these…I can’t believe how much she has grown, and how beautiful she is becoming. I don’t think anyone or anything can really prepare you for motherhood…it can be crazy, it can be difficult, it has it’s challenges…but my gosh, it can be BEAUTIFUL. Rewarding. Incredible. Emotional. Joyful. Miraculous….I think we get the point hehe.

The other day I stubbed my toe pretty bad…I bent down almost in tears [I can be a bit of a baby lol] and my little audrina came over to me, placed her hand on my shoulder, and with such a true, genuine look of concern in her eyes, she says “Mommy..?” she gets in closer to make better eye contact with me, “Oh no” and leans in for a the warmest hug. It is the best feeling when your baby starts to care, and give hugs and kisses on their own. Every little stage is so precious.

I had the lovely pleasure of shooting a session for this beautiful family, Mother’s Day weekend. We had a good time walking around Sardis Park…Here are a few of my favorites!

He was a tough one to get to smile, but what a handsome little man when he does…

I was told that this is a tree of special meaning to them. I love when clients choose locations full of memories. So special and meaningful!

I had the pleasure of taking photographs of this awesome family on Boxing Day! The session took place in Surrey- and I was soo excited when I saw the sun shine that morning, what a beautiful day. Would you believe that half way there on the freeway the weather changed like night to day? It was all of sudden like another world- full of fog, frost and clouds- with the sun peaking his face through now and then- but you know what? It was really cool! I loved the weather!

Oh was it ever chilly though! My hands were shades of pinks, purples and blues as I was clicking away My clients were troopers, though! Not one complaint! Brrr was it cold, though! You guys were fantastic

The girls were such cutie-pa-tooties! Loving little cousins they were- and loving the camera…

Oh the boys- poor guys! I think they thought we were crazy out there in the frosty foggy weather! They just can’t help it though- they’re too darn cute, no matter how hard they try not to be

Well- I have only been wanting to do this shoot for about the last couple months or so! Some how it just didn’t happen- until Christmas Eve We had her all dressed up, and bundled up to go out and enjoy family during Christmas- and it was awesomely (is that a word?) gorgeous and sunny out!! So my wonderful husband suggested I take the portraits of our sweet baby girl- like I’ve wanted to do forever now. What a fantastic idea. That’s all I’ve got to say about that, hehe.

I have to admit, it was a little chilly! Half way through the photos we decided to stop in Teddy Bear Dreams on Wellington and buy a tiny little girl scarf for her- oh it was soo adorable, and did just the trick.

Last week I had the pleasure of having a session with my good friend and her sweet little daughter- ahh what a cutie she is! I am still working through the photos, but I couldn’t resist posting this one in the mean time! She’s just too darn cute. Look at her left foot, so cute! Hehehehe…I think I’ve used the word ‘cute’ enough, eh??
