I am just such a night owl. But this is when I get most of my editing and such done…and it is just so nice and quiet.

For those who are “friends” with me on facebook, you may have already noticed by my statuses that I am super in love with my new lens :) Yesterday I bought one of my dream lenses, the 70-200mm f2.8……and so, here are my my first shots, taken of my beautiful daughter, Audrina.

And here is just how much she LOVES modeling for Mommy, hahahah

Some how it just didn’t happen- until Christmas Eve :) We had her all dressed up, and bundled up to go out and enjoy family during Christmas- and it was awesomely (is that a word?) gorgeous and sunny out!! So my wonderful husband suggested I take the portraits of our sweet baby girl- like I’ve wanted to do forever now. What a fantastic idea. That’s all I’ve got to say about that, hehe.

I have to admit, it was a little chilly! Half way through the photos we decided to stop in Teddy Bear Dreams on Wellington and buy a tiny little girl scarf for her- oh it was soo adorable, and did just the trick.

This was such a great shoot, despite the down-pour of rain! It was raining so hard that day..

We started the session indoors, then made our way downtown to do some under the overhangs- so glad we decided to do that, because I just love the portraits we got!

And guess what? The sun decided to show his lovely face that afternoon, after we were done! Ahh well- we did just fine without him ;)
