The air was still cold and crispy- the furnace was still turned off from the night before. The house is quiet. Dark. Lonely. I make my way to the living room, find the trustee television- you remember when TV’s were made of that wood material- yeah that kind of TV :)
I turned on the TV, found my favorite early morning cartoon (which was most likely My Little Pony), grabbed my blanky, and stretched out on the couch, until the rest of the house woke up…

Ahhh….the joys of being 4 years old. Not a worry in the world! Life was so simple, no need to think about bills, work, school, maintaining the house or maintaining the car…completely stress-free!

Wouldn’t it be nice to be back at that age? Definately. But I wouldn’t. Because then I wouldn’t get to see my own little girl live through her own little adventures…life can be as stressful as it wants, because I still love every moment of it- my sweet little girl makes everything worth while…

Here she is all stretched out and relaxed- watching her own morning cartoons :)

I couldn’t have asked for better weather! I shot a wedding Saturday, and I shot this beautiful couple, waiting for their bundle of joy, on Sunday. I can’t get over how amazingly beautiful S looks…such a glowing mother-to-be!
We began the session indoors. I used a black backdrop that I brought along for some shots…and some shots were with the yellow wall they had in their home- and I love how it turned out!

G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S.

I LOVE the contrast of the blue with the yellow wall!
